Relined Dentures

Print Friendly, PDF & Email
Relining dentures involves adhering new material to the internal surface (tissue area) of a denture. It can be hard or soft material. It can be done by the dental professional in the office or using an impression placed inside the denture sent to a dental lab. When sent to a lab it usually takes one day but sometimes longer. A reline is done to compensate for the shrinking of the bone that occurs under a denture.
